What is Pac-Man
Pac-Man is a classic arcade game developed by Namco and released in 1980. The game features a yellow, circular character named Pac-Man, who navigates a maze while eating pellets. The objective is to clear the maze of all pellets while avoiding four colorful ghosts — Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde — who chase Pac-Man throughout the maze. If caught, Pac-Man loses a life.
Power pellets located in the corners of the maze allow Pac-Man to temporarily eat the ghosts for extra points. The game increases in difficulty with each level, offering faster gameplay and more aggressive ghosts. Pac-Man became an iconic part of gaming history due to its simple yet addictive gameplay and has inspired numerous sequels, merchandise, and cultural references.
